Watch Description

Silmilar to Spencer, but with a few differences. Is it still a Spencer?

Spencer is a different case. The Lincoln has a similar case but a different dial. Looking to see if I can find a match.

This kind of dial is often described as an 'exploding' dial.

Is the case solid gold?

If so might be a Bulova War Ace

Nice clean watch indeed. Can you provide us with the info stamped on the outside and inside of the case back?

War Ace is a good bet if the case is marked "14K" as opposed to "14K GF", "Gold Filled" or something similar.

Great looking watch, love the rose gold and dial.  If it is 14K I think War Ace is a good vote.

Hi all.

Sorry, made a mistake with crystal: it is of course CONVEX, not concave.

And yes, it is 14K solid rose gold. So War Ace might be a good call... have more pics of case back and inside, no idea how to edit previous picture posting, there seems to be no edit function for primary post.

Anyway, many thanks!

Hello Habitant (Habs fan?) once you save the record you can't add photos but you can add them in these comment boxes. I'll send you my email address and I can add them to the base record for you if thats easier. It's a fine looking watch.

Unless my eyes deceive me, this looks like a re-dial.

The chapter ring for the sub dial does not match, the countersink for the smalll sub second is dwarfed by the ink stamping, obvioulsy meant for a larger sub second.

If you have a pic of the caseback inside and outside, that will complete the record.
