Watch Description

Here is an interesting one.  It is a 1946 Knickerbocker with a really cool engraving.   It is a 10KT yellow rolled gold plate case with engraving "Presented to Abe Brenner by First Krilower Cong."  I could not find any reference to the First Krilower Congress.   Has me stumped.  The dial is yellow gold applied hour markers with printed Bulova.  The seconds register has no numbers.  It has a replaced hour hand which needs to be replaced.  The movement is a 17J 8AE with a square date code.

Cool inscription. It's First Krilower Congregation, being the name of a Jewish religious society. I got a couple google reference hits for burials in Mount Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, NY.  I found Abe there. He died in 1949. His wife Tillie died the next year and is buried beside him.
