Your watch is much prettier than the ad of course. Especially with the aftermarket triangle bangles.

I think it's a Lieutenant also. The Ranger was basically the same watch except the case was yellow gold plated.

I'm thinking this is not an altered case, but certainly not an aviator. Unknown.

Agreed, the Aviator case design in 1945 was different from that of the subject watch.

We have seen this type of bling enhancement before on other Bulova's. The case, dial, hands and movement are a good match for a 1946 Bulova Bruce 'B' or 1946/47 Bulova Cadet 'C'.

Subject watch has a 1947 case with a 45 movement.
