Similar pictures found that this may be a WWII era watch. it does have a 12 hour dial and sub second hand dial, but no military markings. Local owner's grandfather wore it for years. Believe an aftermarket band, labeled Kreisler. Case size is 30mm. The watch does run okay.
I have taken the case back off other watches, but do not see a divit to use a blade on this. However it does have several flat edges, wonder if there is a special tool to remove? No marking on outside caseback.

It's a cool watch but does indeed appear to be a recased Bulova movement in a non-Bulova case.
Serial numbered movement would seem to indicate that this is a 1929 movement in a later period aftermarket case with a face of unknown origin.
Should we call it 1929 Non-conforming?
