1945 Dewey - I got this a while back and just tossed it aside, it was part of an auction in which I wanted one of the other watches. After finally looking it up and seeing that the Dewey looks like a fairly scarce model (only a few examples in the db) I decided to clean it up and put it in. This poor devil has had a really hard life, he is pretty banged up on the outside and the dial is about non-existent with no hands. But the movement, although as dirty as the outside was I'm sure, appears to be able to function. This 46 in the database and a 1943 President F model seem to be the only dials that use a grey color for partially shaded dials. Photo #5 is the dial of the 46 in the database shown as an example of the partial grey shading. (you sure can't see it on this poor old tired fella). Well, i won't be uploading the 46 dial..it says it a jpeg and won't work.

A bit threadbare, but it does appear to be a 1945 Dewey

I would hardly call it a watch, rather a Dewey torso .o)
