I am unsure of the actual date of this watch.  It belonged to my grandfather and he never spoke much about it.  The band is not original.

Non-Conforming for me means all the components are designed by Bulova, but from different models

Possibly, even likely, a movt swap, as the 8AE did come in 17/21j, and this being a gold case...

However, I'm going to have to say unknown.
