Here's another interesting find that I'd appreciate your help identifying.  Let me say upfront that I'm unsure about its authenticity due to the case back and dial.

The movement appears to be an authentic 10AN with a "0" date code and stamped 15 Jewels.  Inside of the case back reads RMMFY HONGKONG.
Is this a 1944 Ashford?

The dial is from an international Italian model, but agree that it is likely the case is non-original. The 10AN movment is dated 1934 and not 1944. 10ANs were not being manufacturef this late.

Non-Conforming.

Do I have this correct: It's a 1934 Bulova Non-Conforming - 15J, 10AN movement, aftermarket case, and international (Italian) dial.

Alkl you really have is a 1934 Bulova 10AN movement. I wouldn't classifiy this as a 1934 watch, more as a 1950s watch with a very early replacement movement.

The use of a 10AN doesn't surprise me. It was the workhorse movement for Bulova in the 1920s and 30s and there are plenty of parts still around.

The logo on the dial was used by Italian models.
