I took a chance on this one off of Ebay. It was sold without movement pictures but I recognized it as a stopwatch. The watch came in heavily tanished with an awful yellow cracked crystal but surprisingly runs. The 10AH movement has a T date code but is missing several of the chronograph parts. The dial seems original with radium markers. It is missing the chronograph second hand. I am hoping to source parts so if anyone has them please let me know. BTW the reference post that says the Ofrei crown works on these is incorrect. The stem screw is too large. I included photos of before and after with the cosmetic restoration. The ad I found seems to be the only ad that I could find that has lugs that matches this particular watch. All others seem to have more squared lugs.
Been doing some research and found our guy. Leslie Neustadter. He was born in 1926 and most likely received this watch as a graduation present from high school in 1944 just before he entered the US Navy Air Corp. Here is his draft card and his obituary. He also appears to be a a wood carver of some merit. Really cool.
