Watch Description

This is the Moderne I believe.  I could only find the one ad for it but it looks like a match.  I love almost anything in pink gold from this era and was happy to pick this one up.  It is 14K rose/pink gold plate with a stainless back.  The dial is amazing condition and is more of a copper color than rose and the movement is in working condition.  Thanks : )

I believe I also have a Moderne ladies Bulova.  It has the same movement symbol (T) and the same movement model (6AH).  The band has been replaced with an expansion band.  I will post some photos in the next day or two.  Mine is not in working condition.

Ok so south of the boarder this beauty went by  'Moderne' and north by "Molly Stark".

Marketed in the US as Molly Stark. Molly was the wife of a Revolutionary War General named John Stark and was considered a heroine of the Revolution. I would say the watch was marketed as "Moderne" internationally (see Spanish language ad) due to the fact the name would mean nothing to consumers outside of the United States.

I edit my vote to 1943 Molly Stark

noting the name variation of  Moderne  for the non-US market.

I would vote to change it as well.  Noting Moderne for international markets.
