Watch Description

Here it is gents... the elusive Bulova Blackout.

This particular model comes with it's "original" GP period band which is also in great shape.

The dial and movement are extremely dirty though the movement started running as I opened it up.

This will be redialed and cleaned asap.

Enjoy!

Plains

Great find. It's got character now, but will be a beauty when restored.

Awesome and rare piece Plainsmen and the X on the 8AH movement (lower left, highlighted in Blue) says it's a 1943, imagine that.

Hey, Plains, have you gotten your Blackout re-dialed yet?  I'd love to see it redone so I can decide what to do with mine.

Also, the ad shows a brown leather band--a more military look, don't you think?

Is the blue circled X a date code?  Looks like there's a "circle" above the jewel count on the movement.

That is a pin for locating the plate.

aha....thanks  I've seen those before and mistaken them for circle date symbols.
