One of many names can be said for this cat, but with the engraving I think we nail it down to the Galahad.  New crystal on this one.

just a visual note on the Attorney advert above. It looks to only show the watch with one step and not two, so the advert does not match the watch. So both Emperor and Attorney adverts only show a single step, so from what we can tell something is not correct.

I guess bottom line is that without an exact model match is has to be an "Unknown".

Perhaps this will clear things up, admin.

The ad below comes from plainsmen's Attorney thread, and clearly shows the triple steps at the sides, the same as the subject watch.

Agree, Unknown.

Excellent, I forgot we had the picture. Shows the steps on the case much better.

Given it's engraved I'll have to say unknown for now.

Fifth, is this the Emperor?

It's Unknown for me until we find an engraved bezel version.

It's the Emperor Stephen.

After searching around for the ad, I finally got to this watch threadhttp://www.mybulova.com/watches/1942-unknown-5044 where the pic is, as no link or explanation was provided in the above picture post for some reason.

Different dial, hands, jewel count and no engraving, so not quite the Emperor.

Thanks Bobbee, based on that one being classified as "Unknown", it's only fair that we do the same for this one.
