Marked 14K on both case and band. Rose gold colour. Matching colour dial. Running 8AE movement. Can't find a model name, the only other one I have found is in the watchophilia collection listed as "unkown". Additional info would be appreciated.
I will be selling it and would reather go to a collector than be sold for gold scrap.

Thanks Geoff. As an Accutron collector, this is a little outside my area of expertise. I have been through the adverts and other sites collections ( to no avail) and thought that someone in here might have seen it elsewhere. I was hoping to gain a little more info to properly label it to attract the right collector. I really don't want to see it end up where it will be melted down, especially if it is a unique model.
Over the years as gold prices fluctuate, there have been and still are, periods where there is an increased interest in melting everything down. Jewelry, watches, teeth....
What this translates to is that vintage gold cased watches are not as common as they once were, and some are downright scarce. Personally I hate to see any gold watch melted down unless it is a complete write off.
It will be worth whatever the gold is worth, a jeweller or watchmaker can remove the movt and weight the actual case and band and give you an idea of what the value is. I don't think you will have any trouble finding a buyer for it.

Thanks for the input. I would like to see it go to a collector rather than melted. I'm an accutron collector and certainly would not sell off solid gold ones for melt value. This one appears to be unique and I'd hate to see it lost forever.
I have removed the movement and weighed the case and band on an analytical balance and it comes out to 42.9g (crystal removed too). I'm not sure if the crown or the movement holder are 14k, as I have not had them tested but they do appear to be rose gold as well (maybe just GF). At 42.9g it comes out to a shade over $1000USD (assuming purity is correct). I realize that is not what gold buyers would pay. That being said I am going to set the "starting" price above the gold value to weed out the gold buyers ( I have had an offer of $700 from one of those already). If I found a bona fide collector that I knew would preserve it, I might go lower than the golds face value.
