Watch Description

I think in '42 this would be the year of the Chief.

This watch has a really great looking case and movement.  Dial shows it's age but for some reason I see that quite a bit on these models that arn't redialed.  This the Banker, and Ranger models of this era had those white dials that really sucked in the age.

Unfortunately it came with a really crappy 50's band that was horrible on it... It would be nice to find the nice expandable gf one with the leather insert.

Not too shabby Jerin, needs a dial job though. Can't comment on ID till I do some digging but I think you've already been there, done that so let's see the ad.

I'm very lazy with my ads at the moment.  I think I have about 30 watches I'm going to sell... heh.  That will be part of the process.

That dial looks to be just tobacco smoke and dirt, plains. I'll bet it cleans up easily, I had a Wittnauer with the same looking dirt on dial and it came off a treat with mild detergent and cotton buds.

Jerin,

How wide are the lugs on this watch?

Might just have a surprise available for you!!
