Watch Description

Hello everyone! Adding another Bulova to the database. This looks very similar to my 1941 Unknown (1941 Aurora?). The case has two diamonds and the crystal is a different shape. I'm not sure if this is a variant of the same watch or if it is a completely different model. The first number of the s/n on the back of the case is very worn, I am assuming it is a one (looks very similar to the wear on the back of my 1941 Unknown). Looking to see what you all think! Thanks!

This is the same watch with jeweler applied diamond accents.  1941 Unknown

Very nice example and I love the added diamonds.  They may have been original from Bulova but I am inclined to agree with the guys that they were probably added by a jeweler.  Hopefully an ad will come up at some point.

Thank you! That's very interesting, I never even thought that they could be aftermarket and not original. Good to know! Was this a common practice?

Jewelerd would do that as part of UPSELLING sort of like car dealers.
