Watch Description

All I can say about this is that it takes the same crystal as the senator models (cmy 311) and it has an 8ae 17j movement. The model name has so far eluded me. I don't think it is a variant of the senator as these were well published. A very beautiful watch.

Possibly a Baxter, slight variation to the lugs over the '49 plus the case engraving, crystal is very similar to the Senator but not identical.

Awesome piece!

Do we have any updates on this "Unknown" including the crystal discrepancies??

Around 1941 the only models I find that take the MY311 (GS 1943 crystal catalog) or MB240/7 (Perfit #7 catalog) or MT4-241 (undated Federal catalog) are the Senator A, B, C, D, and E. By the late '40's the Drake, Radio City and Spencer are also listed.
