I'll have to change those hands, band can stay

[/quote] Hands have been changed !

I put the same as in the ad, Assuming they are gold.

The case definately looks to be from the President line. The dial is one that I could not find on a President model in any of the available ads. I have seen this dial often with the His Excellency models from the late 40s; and going through the ads I could not find any use of this particular font until 1947; I also see a notch at the 6pm indicating a possible re-dial.

I couldn't tell ya Andersok,  It was cosmetically as is when I got it, I had to repair the movement,  add the band.

I do have a 47 excellency dial which is a little different .  The markings are raised a bit more and the second hand has numbers in it.

I Like the look of that bracelet on this watch. I guess I'm a little bit at odds with this dial too, although the font style of this dial is one of my favorites.

I don't think I'd tag it Unknown but this might be best as a Non-Conforming ID. The case is clearly a President. Seeing the hands and dial together leads me to think it was a marriage to this case. Don't get me wrong,I like the look though. The redial Ken suggests is also likely explanation.
