My vote would be Ambassador A. It's shown in a 1939 ad, but not engraved. It's a real beautiful specimen.

From a fairly reliable source, and I quote:

'None of the Ambassador models are engraved'.

Sorry Guys, hate to be the spoiler but I have to say it's not an Ambassador.

Mark

That's a foul, against the rules of Taxonomy! Fairly reliable sources that say what it is not, should tell us what it is?

Bob,

Yes, I saw that. I think it's the only ad that ever shows an Ambassador with an engraved case.

1930 ad, non engraved.

So then do you agree the watch in question is an Ambassador?

Engraved 1930 Ambassador

I saw a 1931 like the one below engraved

    1933 Ambassador

1934 Ambassador

1935 Ambassador

1936 Ambassador

All above are Ambassador models with engraved cases shown in their Ads.

Uhmmm I think I might have to sort of... disagree with your source?
