Watch Description

My Grandmother's watch. Date code has an "asterisk" meaning either 1924 or 1941. My Grandmother would have been 33 in 1924 and 50 in 1941. Any idea the model and correct date?

Thanks

Nice watch, thanks for sharing your heirloom. Bulova for some reason experimented in the 1940's with a new serial number setup starting the number with a letter. "B" signifies 1941, which matches the asterisk on the movement. It appears that your Grandmother's watch is a

Where can I go to look up the letter designations of these watches? For example, mine is a Goddess of Time "L".

As always, thank you!

Methodically comb through the ads on site, or go off the home page to search "model name". Choose "Goddess of Time"

Yes I agree with 1941 for this watch.  A lovely heirloom from your grandmother.

It looks like your grandmother received a very nice 50th birthday present.  1941 Goddess Of Time "L"

I was leaning toward 1941. She probably did not have two nickels to rub together in 1924. Thanks!
