I agree with you about a watch that runs well. I am anal retetive about things like that. My collection is about 40 watches and I wind them all daily just to make sure they are all running well. (Geoff Baker thinks I'm nuts for doing that.) If a watch is off by a minute or 2 it drives me insane. Anything more than that and it's off to the watchmaker for an adjusment. I'm in the process of selling my non Bulova watches and I have a 40's Gruen Curvex that runs like it had a quartz movement, because of that I'm having a hard time letting it go!
