Watch Description

This was a fun one to try and figure out.  I thought it was a Priscilla, looks really close.  I have an ad with Priscilla on it and after looking at it closely noticed it is a different shape.  Then I thought it was a Goddess of Time.  That wasn't quite right either.  Finally found an ad for Co-ed, bingo!  It was nicely advertised.

It has a 10k rolled gold plate bezel and stainless back.  It has a 7AM working movement with an asterisk date symbol.  The crystal is acrylic and yellowed.  I put a new cord band on it.

Ads from 1940 and 1941.  A lower priced watch at $24.75 but that would be $450 today which still seems pretty expensive especially for the time.

Nice one, I like the little square engraved ones - classy watch.

1940 Co-Ed.

This is what quality looks like, it has a long life.

The money originally spent gets spread over many years of use. I tell my customers to avoid the cheap junk watches and jewellery, many are made from very questionable materials, some very toxic.
