Watch Description

Looks to be an early "Brunswick" in rose gold plate?  The case is showing a serial number starting with 9 and that coincides with the shield date stamp on the 21 jewel movement.  Brunswick was a 21 jewel watch

We had an ad from 1939 and 1941.  The 1941 shows the A... which was the yellow gold.  We have the rose gold here.  Would this be the C?

Cool watch. In rose gold, I'm thinking this is a dial variant Engineer; with the white overlay on the face cleaned off.  like this one previously ID'ed

1939 Engineer

Brunswick was advertised as yellow gold like this one. with a full numbered dial

1939 Bulova Engineer for certain. I'm holding off on the variant for now

1939 Bulova Engineer.  Probably two dial variants on this but no designation yet.

Its a match for the other example we have for sure, but we still don't have a definitive advert showing what I call an 'exploding' dial.  To group both watches I agree it's best to ID as an Engineer.

Here is an amazing example that matches the advert.
