Watch Description

Hello everyone! Adding another Bulova to the database. I believe this to be a 1936 Cleopatra. This seems to be almost an exact match to my 1936 Cleopatra (only difference is white gold plated instead of yellow gold plated). While I was looking for the ad for the 1936 Cleopatra I came across an ad for a 1936 Adele, they look like the same watch. I know sometimes with newspaper ads they were not completely accurate. As Kathy found two ads stating my other watch was a Cleopatra, I am assuming that these are both that model. Looking to see what you all think! Thanks!

Good catch Bob! This can be a very involved process! Haha! Thank you for looking! Hopefully one of us will end up finding something!
Also, while this page is active I have a question. Is there access to the Bulova line books on this myBulova or do you all personally own them?

The line books have limited access to panel members only at this point in time.

Looks to me that these both are Adele's based on the dial match which is confirmed with ads.

I'm not sure if it's just me or if the lug section on the Cleopatra is missing the side components that the Adele has. They are clear in the Adele advert but not the Cleopatra one.

I'd go with a 1936 Bulova Adele (white gold version) as well.
