Hello everyone! Adding another Bulova to the database. I'm thinking it is a Lady Excellency A. It seems to be a match to the part advert. Looking to see what you all think! Thanks!
Hmmmm. Case certainly appears to be a match, but jewel count and face differ from ad. I would be inclined to say this is a Lady Excellency with a different yet unknown variant letter.
1946 Lady Excellency.
On an interesting note, this is the only watch I find to be submitted bearing this 7AL movement. There is a movement photo in "Movements" without a watch. It is also dated 1946. If confirmed, this is the first Lady Excellency submission as well.

Just to clarify, are you saying that you believe this is not a Her Excellency or a Lady Excellency? The ad that I posted on here is for a Lady Excellency. I only found one other partial ad that shows it in which I cannot really tell (and it seems to not match this ad for a Lady Excellency as the other ad shows diamonds).
I believe this is a 1936 ladies watch. The style and B-10K all say 1930s to me. I have looked but haven't found an ad yet. On the movement, even though the DB has it as 1946, that doesn't mean it wasn't made for many more years than that. Those are only the ones that have been documented here. It is not uncommon for movements to be around 10+ years.
Unknown for now
