I don't see either a Minute Man or a President in 1935 with this case style. Jim what ad are you using to ID?

1939 ad only one i seen dead on case jewel count  is 17 in this ad where this is 21. But case is a dead on match i think.

Please measure the case Jim.

Pesident case is around 45mm. long, MM is about 3-4mm. shorter.

MM=17 jewels, Prez=21 jewels.  Prez ads from 1936, MM not until 1937.

President gets my vote based on the 21J movement. The 'C' looks to be non-engraved version.

Yeah, so all the Presidents shown, with the possible exception of the "C" are engraved. I'm almost sure that the Minute Man is slightly wider in the middle and has a slight taper to the lugs. I'm very tentative on the President C but I really don't think it is. The "C" shown above is a 1939 ad, this is a 1935 watch, the President in 1935 was not this case style, it was stepped.

Unknown.

Any chance of measuring the case length and width Jim?

Thanks.
