Here is an interesting one that is a first for me on a few levels. Two tone engraved case is all yellow gold on top with white sides and back. Case is clearly marked "Bulova" on one end with a shield and marked 10K Rolled Gold Plate on the back.. Outside 6 digit s/n, with no interior markings besides jeweler marks. Movement is double date stamped 1934 / 1935 and stamped "USA".
The 1934/35 Lone Eagle came in 6 variants , I believe this is one of them. Face matches ads for the white gold one, I find no ads for the two tone, but there is one other in the Db; this one has a suspect face Perhaps the 2 tone was available with either the yellow or white gold face.
Just like the other two tone referenced, this one has a 6 digit exterior s/n only.
1935 Lone Eagle
Hmm, not sure I'm sold yet Bob. The linked watch above is, I think unrelated (my opinion). I'm wondering about the 6 LE variants you reference, I can't recall seening a period advert for a two tone Lone Eagle. I also wonder what the source is for the partial advert above, the blue background, is that found in our dB?

Advert and variant number is from Stephen's LE feature write-up. Two watches referenced bear the gold case LE face, subject watch bears the hashmark variant face per ads. All 3 havethe same exterior Bulova markings w/6 digit s/n but no interior serial number.
6 variants would seem to be yellow, 2 tone, white - engraved and unengraved.
Subject watch is a double stamped 1934/1935 movement, the other 2 referenced are 1934, by movement. Lone Eagle in this style case was produced in '34 / '35.

Dashes were just another version of the named watch in the mid 30's Geoff. We see the exact same thing in the Ambassador and the Commodore from these years. Engraved and unengraved bezels.... yellow, white, or two toned... and dashed dials or numbers. Same same... this is a LE.
