Will I have this same watch and I am enjoying watching it work after extensive repairs. I had to replace the escape wheel and the balance with hair spring but it is running fine now and one of my more proud accomplishemnts to date. Not bad for a self taught watch maker apprentice. This makes about the fourth or fifth watch I have had to make serious repairs to. The toughest one  so far has been the Oakley movement I acquired to fix my other Oakley movement with. I had to replace the seconds wheel and that was a little dicey at first but it finally worked out ok.

Once I get some of these other watches repaired I will try to scan and send the catalogs I have to you.

The subject does not look exactly like the 'SENATOR' of this era as the steps on the Case sides are more prominant, also the Jewel count differs.

The case SN suggests 1931 for date of case.  Wonder what this case/watch was called in 1931?  I think i still have watch, but can't find to take better pics...
One tick for Senator... Perhaps better as an unknown model for now?

This is not a Senator.  I have a two tone of this watch as well as a variant dial... this is more along the lines of a LE without engraving.  Zero ticks for senator

Plains, if you give zero ticks, it doesn't affect the tick score at all.  It's like not voting your disagreement with the ID.  One tick indicates disagreement, and brings the overall tick score down accordingly. I don't think this is a Senator either, and gave one tick to indicate this.

It would be tentative for me as the subject watch isn't engraved and has a 17J movement. Advert shows with 15J and what looks like engraved front sides.
