Thank you for posting the watch.  Do you have a photo of the front of the watch you can post.

I'm really not sure to the date or any of it for that matter. I'm very new to this and still rather confused

Inside case s/n is 4027856 (1934) and movement date code appears to be a circle (also 1934). 1934 Bulova Oakley is my ID, just like THIS one.

I think Geoff has nailed the model ID, but I'm confused by the dial on this example. The style is correct, but is obviously not the correct proportions for the case. More than likely the dial has been replaced with something similar.

The dial is definitely a replacement and out of proportion.   Non-conforming would be my designation or I am OK with Oakley noting a dial replacement.

As Stephen stated above, the dial is correct style, but placement of markers is incorrect for the case, as is the shape of the minutes track.  Out of curiousity, I did a search with "13AL" as the only refinement. What came up in the database was Oakley, Oxford and Physician models. It appears that all used the same movement and casing 1933-1935. If the casing/movement combination isn't exclusive to one distinct model; I'm currently at non-conforming but will go with majority consensus.

This is a dial from a Oakley. Note the 12 o'clock indicator length compared to the subject watch. Subject is also missing Bulova (may have been cleaned off).

Yes i did notice that it was missing the bulova on the dial. And it does look like someone has cleaned it also it looks very much worn alot. I got this and another one on a jewlery box left behind by my grandmother. And this one still works and seems to keep time. But it definitely looks very worn. Like a daily wearer.
