Jay (Vintagebulova.com) has a 1931 example here, with raised gold numerals, but there's some ads in this thread which appear to show a variation dial like subject watch.

I saw one in yellow gold on sleaze bay high $$ guy listed as 14k solid, still no marking of that on the watch, anyone have any info?

In the US, gold was and still is required by law to be marked. I forget the original date of the law, but it was in place early on. Now, I have seen masterful re-creations of cases by case-makers, and in some of these instances the cases are unmarked, but these are few and far between, and would not be exactly like the original. Bulova cases that are unmarked are unlikely to be solid gold.

Well as an example my lone eagle 3 has stamps on the inner case but nothing at all for gold, it's not yellow though , his watch also has the year and dates bulove stamp but says nothing about kt- or rgp.
