I expect this one will be "unknown" but thought I'd post it. It's similar to an unknown on Watchophilia http://www.watchophilia.com/photogallery/bulovas-1930-1939/a1931-unknown/ Mine, however, clearly looks like a mismatched redial, since the minute track and seconds track are square, while the case is tonneau/triangular. The hands look wrong too, but overall the watch is still pretty nice looking... Anyway, I really am drawn to the two-tone cases from this period, so I couldn't resist and its on my wrist right now, running well...
:-) the parts may all be Bulova but I suspect they don't belong together. Looks cool, but I wouldn't classify it as a true Bulova watch. It's a true Frankenbully, and a cool one at that!
Non-conforming for me. The case is still unknown to us and I really hope one day we can find an advert for it, as the case does pop up from time to time. An advert will show us the correct dial and hands.
Thanks for adding though.
Thanks for all of the comments so far. I really appreciate and value the insights I get when I've posted watches to the site. I still have a lot to learn!! As I noted at the outset, I expected "unknown" and realized the dial and hands had issues. Still, its a fun watch, and I'm enjoying wearing it along with my other Bulovas...
Best,
David
