admin,

Yes asap.

It looks as if it begins with a 3, can't make out the rest so I'll take another picture and hope for better results. This is at 500% of original.

The icky Case is in the bath and the batteries are charging....

I just noticed the 2 different Case engraving patterns in the ads:

The ad showing the Radium Dial model has the Diamond pattered Case. The Gilt numeral ad shows the 'squiggly' pattern.

I see only one ad in the database for the 1931 Lone Eagle. I believe the engraving pattern in the ad is not accurate. There was a clear ad type picture without descriptive data in the ad db but, it's not there now. That ad picture showed the LE  III radium dial with the cathedral hands.

This pic you show in your description looks like your watch with the background change. Is that a home made ad? That not exactly a good way to authenticate your own watch.

Wayne, no it's just a home cropped photo next to an actual ad provided by admin at the start of this discussion.

The image You are showing above is the Watch.

Gilt numeral Dial, Black Hands with a Diamond patterened Case and Bracelet.

On page one of this string you allude that gold hands are not correct for the dial with the raised gilded logo & numbers. My 1931 LE III has the guilded logo & numbers. I think that any color available at the time of sale is correct, even blued steel for this dial. I take it you are talking color preference vs authentic.
