Rob,

I agree it's the same case as your link but Mark's subject watch has a Tonneau shaped minutes and seconds tracks but the crystal is curved on all 4 sides. Your linked watch has the correct minutes and seconds tracks.

Yea subject watch minute track and hour numerals seem to have lots of "space" btwn them and the bezel too.
Unknown from me, but I'm looking for something close.

hmm, interesting observation on the Dial.

The Sq Shield on the Movement dates to 1931 which matches the Case seriel number.

Is the Dial correct or not correct?

Yea well that's about all I would say about my "observation".  I was looking at the other unknown linked above, and subject watch, and though different styles, they both have "some distance" from numerals to bezel opening.  I think I also looked through that other unknow thread and saw the ad for the Templan, which is a diff watch, so if I used that ad to make my comments about this dial, it's irrevalent.  Subject dial seems to "fit" the case, and if it's not original, it's been in the case for quite a while.  I'm saying the dial looks correct to me.  We don't have and ad showing any different.

Unknown w/ what looks like an original dial (or an old appropriate replacement).

Mark, is the dial curved on all sides or Tonneau shaped? How does it compare to the inside of the bezel?

What are the crystal dimensions?

Thanks

Although the Dial differs slightly from the first 'UNKNOWN' posted in this thread the Dial itself is different.

Raised Gilt vs Radium.

The database contains a Second identical 'UNKNOWN' also Dated 1931 showing the same Radium type Dial as the subject, http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1931-unknown-2479

Judging by the condition ( I have the Watch in Hand) the Dial is original and correct in the subject Watch.

With 2 examples it would seem that the dial is correct. Although, it's seems strange to have both the minutes and seconds track not match the shape of the bezel opening.

...now i finally see what your talking about.  The horizontal parts of the track are "straight" across at the top/bottom vs slightly tonneau like the bezel opening.  The numbers are also "straight" across.  With a couple/few examples, no biggie, but now I get it - it's more interesting.

I'm just a little slow today......(no comments from the peanut gallery on this being the rule and not todays exception...>)
