Beautiful example of this classic Bulova. Came to me with a 'spring' bracelet which is remarkably comfortable to wear. Bulova Case has Jan 11, 1927 patent date but is not marked for gold content.

Both of the cropped ads above for the Banker & the Treasurer are from 1928.

Could it be that this is 1929, early 1930s.

As we now see another Treasurer fro the same period with a rectangled case. (Plains new watch)

Both of the cropped ads above for the Banker & the Treasurer are from 1928. A follow on check shows ads for the Banker in 1929 & 1930. The Treasurer is never advertised again in the tonneau configuration after 1928. Plaines new Treasurer is backed up by an ad that is thought to be dated 1929. If Scott could verify the source & date of the corner-cut Treasurer ad, we can ascertain the case design change to the a correct year, either 1929 or 1930.

Whatever Scott can verify would be great. Geoff's watch is covered by a 1928 ad & is authentic no-matter what.

Geoffs Watch has a Shield Date code and is a 1929 manufacture not 1930 as listed.

Good catch! That is a conflict. However, it ain't no biggie, I'm sure for Geoff can make a correction to either the symbol or the date.
