Yours is simply a dial variation, seen a lot in the late 1920's/early 1930's.
Although the jewel count is different and the bracelet too.
No biggie.
"Sky King"??. Nothing like a Sky King Jim! :-)
Edit- Looking again, there are some subtle differences.
Notice the lugends? Different shape and some off-set engraving on the tips.
Here is one in the DB from 1929
Exactly like yours Jim, except it has a radium dial.

Nice watch Jim. Checking the linked ads Bobbee placed above.
Good catch Bobbee on the lug differences in the 1929 Spencer in the watch database. I agree there are differences in the lugs in that record. I don't think the linked record is the Spencer, and I'm not sure Jim's is either.
I dont belive it to be a spencer i may be wrong looks differnt. Did the spencer have a hinged case. This as you can see has the hinged case and i think it may have had a dust cover over the movement that looks to be missing. As i am not well educated in the names i collect what i like on looks and this watch looks awesome so i bid and won this beauty. Would have paid more i think if were on ebay, lucky me it was not :)
