Watch Description

1929 Bulova Unknown model in all white 14 k  RGP. Case back notes 1/11/1927 Pat Date. Not the typical fish / arrow engraving on the stiles, more of a wave design, arrows are there on the side though. As you all know, every watch gets a name at my house, even if we can't find one. This one is "Not a President", mostly because I don't think it is, although I did once.

What a beauty Geoff. I am jealous. I will try my best to track this one down cause it deserves a better name.

That looks great! Of course it'l be a bear finding the ID. Seems these older ones give us more grief as the ads are harder to see.

Just a guess at this stage until I start to dig into the adverts.
Oakley?

Hmm, the Oakley in the 1930 ad has enamel on the lug ends and in the centre on either side, and the engraving differs slightly.

How about a Lincoln....getting closure....again engraving differs by the looks.

Not a President, Not an Oakley, Close to a Lincoln.  1929 ad below

Unknown or tentative Lincoln?

Still Unknown I think, those engravings on the Lincoln just look 'wavy' to me. If only the ad were a bit clearer.
