Watch Description

I had to pick up a sapphire Miss Liberty to round out the trio since I had sold the other one I had.  This one is in nice shape.  It seems to have a 1927 movement and 1929 case so it is probably a replacement.  Really nice clean dial.

What better than one Miss Liberty. The set. It's really nice to see that picture of all three stone tyes. Congrats on getting another to replace the one you sold. That dial is super clean.

The movement is a real puzzle. It is a 6P with serial number 114678 and 2 adjustments, placing it in 1925. Yet it is stamped with a 1927 date code, the only 6P ever found having this. Can you check if there is no hint of a circle anywhere i.e. a double date code? In any case, it is an "old" movement they found laying around and used it in 1927.
