At long last.... it's taken me a few years... and I had to sell a couple of my guys watches to raise the funds.... but... The "Lady Lindy"!

The enamel is far from perfect on her... but for such a rare watch I can look to try my hand or get it touched up professionally.

She's got the same feathered lugs as our Croydon.

I love this watch and it'll be a fantastic addition to my daughters collection.

Congrats with this rare find! As popular as it is now, it apparently wasn't in those days....

a 1928 Lady Lindy (or are we dating watches according to the movement and not case serial?)

Also, is the movement serial 164179?

I think it maybe 164175..

I think we were dating with the latest.. ie if the case/movment were close it was the latest we went with?

I'm more inclined to say 1928, making the case the determining factor, as movements can be replaced. Like the 10AN for mens watches, the 6AF was a very common movement for these ladies models.

1928 Bulova Lady Lindy for me.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you go with filling in the enamel. As long as the trenches are still there it should work.

That’s a very nice find indeed 1928 Bulova Lady Lindy.  As a distant relative of Amelia Earhart I think I need to find one of these for my daughter.
