Watch Description

Case is in great shape on this one.  A redial could be in order as a matter of opinion but I think there's a pile of guys out there like this old rough look with a sweet case like that.  Case and movement are off by a couple years but not unheard of as it's a really early era watch.

Trojan is my opinion.

Except for the spelling, I agree with this appearing to be a Trojan.

1929 case would make it a Conqueror.

Agree on Conqueror, from either year.

1929 Conqueror is good call.  Nice one...

Jerin,

I think the engraving on this watch is a little different than your '28 Conqueror. What do you think?

Specifically the front corners at the lugs.

Also, shouldn't this be a '29 based on the case serial #?

Left a sorta clear 1926 ad for Trojan.  Click to see full ad.  Right a clear 1928 Conqueror ad

Here's one of Admins conqueror's below.

DarHin caught the corners- w/ no engraving on subject.  Corners on wayne's example are like Admins - full corner engraving.  see http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1928-conqueror-1536

So tentative conqueror based on engraving difference?  Or?

I'll second a tenative conqueror.

two ticks for tentative Conqueror from me.  I don't know what the case SN beginning W/ 9 suggests or if it's addressed. Ditto the difference in corner design btwn the other conquerors in watch DB.
