Watch Description

Purchased this one from the granddaughter of Wilma, the original owner. Super clean and keeping time as received. An interesting note: the seller never opened it up. When I did, I found a tiny photo of a toddler sandwiched between the movement and case back. Notified the seller and she was thrilled I would and did send it back to her, also sending an enlargement suitable for framing. She believes it might be her father or his older brother.

1928 Gloria - white gold filled with enameled case details and original owner's maiden name initials on back..

It's sad that she would rather have money than Grandma's watch.

Wow that is a fantastic watch and super cool finding the photo of her son in it.

Gloria it is! I think the first digit of the movement serial is a 6?

Thanks Alex. I just looked again with a 10X loupe and first number is indeed a "6". Can read them all except the last number. (3, 6, 8 or 9)
