Easily the most intricate and delicate Bulova I have ever laid eyes on. The engraving on the bezel is second to none with the flower motif that carries over to the small exquisitely detailed flowers on the dial of this tiny ladies Bulova.
She sports a 5AP, 15 Jewel Movement and the case has a patent date of 1924. The movement is fully encased and fits like a precision piece that it is.
This one will be staying with my personal collection for quite some time.

You know I don't know quite yet. It's very small... might have ot customize a black leather band somehow. It would be rediculous to think I'll ever find an original to go along with it... I've not even remotely seen another Collette yet. This would be the first one since I've been keeping an eye out.

It is now in my possession (rubbing hands together). A couple of problems, t hough.
1. I can get the movement out of the outer case, but I can't get it out of the inner plastic windowed case, so I'm having trouble reading all the info on the movement. I'm 99% sure it says 5AP (so tiny!), but I'm having trouble seeing the date symbol, because it is partially hidden by the rim of the case. I think it might be that mark that looks kinda like a shield, but I'm not 100% sure. If it is, that would make it a 1929. The case and dial look identical to yours.
2. It has a gold colored crown, which is obviously not original. It is almost impossible to wind because it is not the right crown. I have to open the case back to be able to wind it, and it is still very hard to do.
3. It could really use a new crystal, as the one on it is badly scratched so it's hard to see the dial in some spots.
4. In my fumbling and careless attempts to get the movement out of the inner case, one of the hands popped off , and I haven't yet been able to find it in my confetti colored carpet... It may also have fallen into my keyboard.... sigh
Do you think you can help me locate some replacement parts for it? Crystal, hands, crown?

Oh, and by the way, there is another one currently for sale on ebay, item #200400990158. He's asking too much for it, for no more info than he provides. I emailed him before I snagged the one above and tried to get more info on the markings on the movement and such, but he never responded.

I use Mike from Timemachines for my major repair work. He's got quite a few of the older hands and can pretty much work on anything. You might want to try to message him here. I'm sure he can get you a crown that fits your watch and maybe even a crystal. Wow... I'm happy for you! This watch is super cool...
Now that you can see it up close isn't that dial something else! How tiny those flowers on it.. oh and white gold enlay on the enamel of those little flowers... freakin SWEET!

these watches are the reasons why i admire the beauty in the womens' watches...i would like to collect them too.but i only like collecting things i wear...if i don't wear it i don't ]keep it...i that is why i don't buy them..but you have to love the art deco design,from the real art deco period...you don't see to many men's Bulova watches with the colored enamel, like u see on other brands ie gruen and elgin...i could be wrong but in my searches i haven't turned to many, or remember seeing them...
