hello i just completed this 1928 banker...the case is in decent shape for the most part...no base metel showing...the movement was extremely gunked up,like some hack dipped it in some kind of oil...the movement cleaned up ok,not as good as i thought but i didn't use the ultrasonic so the nickel plate would flake off more than what it already was...so it was done by hand...the dial is striped but looks good.i add a art deco era stainless band which i thinks looks pretty good, and it fit my wrist...once i saw it on i almost thought of keeping it..but i can't keep em all..which is too bad.....anyway if figure i would add it mostly because of the before and after pics.the last two pictures are before the cleaning you can see how bad it was and why it didn't run..if the administrator wants to remove it he could since it really isn't anything new...

thanks i add the movement number....i could find cathederal style hands..i did try though...i looked everywhere and for awhile too,but came up short.i wish i found them,it would have really made the watch...anyway the hands are from a Gruen 406.cal that i had lying around..the hands fit alittle tight at first so then i staked them, using my new, although used,,,staking set..(also i tried making an oiler that needs to be improved) but the hands worked good enough, i don't think they are that bad...i also painted them black, which i just add another coat...i listed this on ebay but it sold very quickly fast then i thought...so before i send it out i will redo the hands...
