Preliminary diagnosis is 1928 Banker.
The movement is a 15J 10AN, consistent with others in the database. The case is 14K yellow rolled gold plate. Its marked Bulova New York. Patent date is Jan, 11, 1927.
The watch runs and keeps time. All I did to it was replace the crystal.
This watch has a nice "patina" but it actually isn't as rough as the pictures make it look. I thought it was interesting because it was yellow gold and all of the ones I've seen are white gold. Having said that, I think there are a couple other yellow ones in the database.

Wow,Tom; that's a neat watch for sure. 1928 is a pretty early date for a yellow gold plated watch and I personally would think it quite unusual. I find no others in the database.
For lack of any ads I can find calling out a choice of gold color , I would be inclined to agree it's likely a Banker for now based on shape, jewel count and face.
