I still have this watch, and the details on the side of the case are crisp!  

The supporting ad is from 1928.

According to the root record the subject Watch contained a 15 Jewel 9AT dated 1928 (Crescent Moon) and matches the 1928 advertisment displayed for the Bulova 'NORMAN'.

why is this a non-confirmed ID?

I need to open more boxes to see what I have.  LOL   I just found this watch and some others I haven't seen for years....which I thought were either sold or lost.  It's like Christmas again, finding yet another jewelry case w/ some nice old Bulova watches :) 
I'll take some photos and update this record.
