Your Case Serial number appears to begin with a 7 - 1927.

After putting it under the loop you are correct. I will change the in accordingly. Any ideas on the name, is it possibly an executive or probably an ambassador.

Yes, a 1927 database ad Names it the 'AMBASSADOR'.

Pretty hard to give any ID without a dial, hands, movement data etc.  Mark, are you just ID'ing by the cases now?

We don't see too many1927 cases.

I now have not only the dial but appropriate hands and  I also have a gold case one excately like this and it has a 10AN movement  but it won't be ready for show and tell unil I get this one fully functional and up to my standards. I recently acquired a spare movement for this one to use for parts and have it running  and will soon relist it with the dial and hands and a new glass crystal.

What type of band should it have on it?? I am thinking a black leather but don't know if that is the right one.
