my nam is Dave Matthews and I have been working on mostly vintage Bulova's for the past years and have a part supplier who lives locally. I have been buying old Bulova's off of EBay for years and servicing, rebuilding  and detailing them to put them back on EBay for a nice profit. I have even got repair jobs from the United Kingdom because it appears no one really specializes in the vintage watches. It started as a hobby for me but know I'm finding it has become more of a job. Looks like the Roman numerals etched in the movement holder (VIIII VIII VI) match the last three digits of case serial number.

I wish they woulda etched the last three digits of original mvnt SN on the other side of the block LOL
