Watch Description

This is not my watch but I got permission from a seller to show it off.  Wow... 18K gold...  "Federal W Co" case

Belais case manufacturer.

Diamonds... sapphires...  just gorgeous!

Matches the 1925 ad perfectly for the "Eileen" sans the 17 jewel.

Looks like she's sporting the original black ribbon with clasp intact!

I wonder if the dial is original.

Either way based based on the case alone, I'd ID as per the advert as a Bulova Eileen.

Same here; based on casing / movement date it's a

1926 Eileen, noting possible movement/face swap.

Yeah, I saw this one on eBay. But I am afraid it is a Franken and definitively not an Eileen. The Eileen was sold in 1924 and 1925 only and having a 17 jewel 6P with a Bruner case in 1924 and a 6W with an unsigned case in 1925. The movements are both 6 ligne and not 5 ligne like the subject watch that is also from 1926. The dial of the subject watch was exclusively used on an unknown Bulova model from 1927 having an "eye-window" shaped window. Federal was a watch brand registered by the Manheimer Brothers, watch importers in Chicago, so a competitor to Bulova. In conclusion: non-conforming.

What a gorgeous watch, wow!  I would agree with Alex.  The lugs are different too.
