I have a bit of a problem with Conqueror's engraving provided with a black enamel

in any case it is a watch from 1926, according to the date of the case

This casing was used for Conqueror and also Lone Eagle, but in white gold with enameling. I am currently at a loss. Case and movement s/n's as well as open bottom "9" and 1926 date suggest it's a Conqueror. However I personally don't ever recall seeing an ad or another example in yellow without enamel.

Very cool watch, I'm still looking but currently stand at

1926 Unknown.

Hi TickNick, welcome to myBulova. Glad you finally joined us, I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing the rest of your collection on our pages.

I think you're spot on, this is a 1926 Conqueror in yellow gold. 1925 10A movement, 1926 date code, I'm really not sure about the 'missing' enamel but Bulova has this exact same watch in their collection in New York City. As usual I hesitate to label ANY Bulova watch as rare, but this is the second one I've seen in MY life, so........

1926 Bulova Conqueror (PS, it's more common than not for some of the enamel to be missing but someone may have removed all of it.)

Here's a photo of the one Bulova has in their collection:

A first for me. Guess it's pretty tough to argue with the Bulova Museum

1926 Conqueror  works for me.

A very rare bird indeed. Lack of corner enameling is correct for these yellow gold versions.
