I don't know much about this watch other than it was owned by my great-grandmother.  My mom gave it to me a few years ago and I've always been interested in it.  I think it is 1920's by the look of it.  It's in surprisingly good shape and still works!  The hands and gem on the knob are blue.  It has a leather strap, not sure if it's original.  The case says it is made of 19k rolled gold plate.  Family heirloom and not considering selling, but we would love to know more about it!

Yes, it's a wonderful thing to have.  I never knew my great-grandmother but I know that she and my mother were close.  I also have a cookbook that she owned which was passed down through the family.  It has three generation's worth of women's handwritten notes in it.  Priceless!

Interesting about the strap.  Somehow I thought a watch like this would have had a metal bracelet, but it could have had the ribbon too.  You can just tell it was worn on the smallest hole, great grandma must have had tiny wrists!

I've sent a private message to watch owner.  Maybe she has more info on this watch, as I have a couple questions which can't be answered based on photos and comments to date.  I cc'ed Alex and Bobbee.

Perhaps more will be revealed.

According to the OP's reply, the information given is all correct. The case was looked at using a magnifying glass and the inside says " American Standard Warranted 19 k 1/12 Rolled Gold Plate."

The SN given above is correct too.

She will try to take a photo of the inner case back for the watch records.
