Not a cheap watch in its day.  1925 Bulova Dubarry looks to be a match.

Lug points are different from the  5701 and DuBurry. Could be a 5701-S, the the -S and -F usually specifying the addition of a lug extension.

Whilst the main case design is the same, the overall design is different. It might be possible that the lug extensions are a custom build, but that would mean removing the original wire lugs, and I cannot see any original mount marks.

My feeling is that it is a 5701 or DuBurry (depending on the date) WITH custom lugs attached by a skilled jeweller to accommodate a more modern cord band.

I noticed the lugs as well... colorwise almost seem different gold?

What do we think about the  case manufacturer Steve?  That case seems too close to not be legit?

She is a beauty!!  Different lugs, maybe a year/name change?

Nice watch to be sure. I'm also of the mindset it's a

1925 Du Barry of undetermined stock/model number (variant), noting lug variation from ad.
