Watch Description

Ok, I seem to have finally gotten a Conqueror! Devilishly tricky to find at a reasonable price, but here she is, have not received her yet, but that won't stop me posting pics!

Circle on 10AP movt for 1925, case serial seems to indicate 1926. Not the 10AN I was hoping for, the 10AN is an FHF ebauche, while the 10AP is  a LePhare.  I'm going to do a full resto on this one, it is a keeper, and I don't often say that.

Very nice Rob. How about a pair of spade style Conquerer hands?

Sounds good to me !

Hmmm, a watchmaker who collects watches? No surprise there.

Good place to start, every collector needs a Conqueror on the mantle!

Ha, not really a collector. I have about six I wear in rotation, ones that I want to keep.

Ah, denial always comes before healing. If I had six cars I drove in rotation I bet you'd consider me a collector.

Confess, you're hooked! Ha Ha.

Glad to see this beauty go to a dedicated myBulova member. Well done Rev.  Correct hands should be the spade cathedral style (hour hand), early Conqueror ads show them nicely.

1926 Bulova Conqueror for me.

Thanks! John has the correct hands, so will be putting them on when it's all restored. Now to find a Lone Eagle......

Nice Conqueror!

I also have a couple of these early cut corner watches, in a box, in a drawer somewhere.  I see their pictures more often than I see the watches.

I'm a collector, but almost a collector of information more than of watches.  I have the watches somewhere though......
