This is one of those watches that keeps us guessing. The 10AII movement is pre 1924, yet the case suggests 1927/28 based on the serial number. It's possible that the movement and case aren't original.

That is entirely possible and a good point. The dial is what throws me off when I search the  different models and just when I think I have found it, the stems are different but I do enjoy the hunt. Thank you for the help

Based on case,  this by appearance seems to be a Bulova 158 case marriage of convenience with an earlier 156 movement and face, but I would hesitate to commit to that.

It is very likely a yet to be identified model, based on the fact Lisa has one identical, with the same seeming discrepancy between movement date and case s/n. Just thinking out loud, perhaps it's a 157 that's a transition between the 156 and 158? I couldn't find any ad depictions of a 157, but it seems likely there was one.

There seems to have been quite a few of these "daisy" flowered cases in diferent shapes that are yet to be identified and they were likely all related with close number identifications (150 series for ex)

Cool watch no matter what it is, always nice to see the really early ones.

Unknown for now, just my thoughts.

Thank you very much for your imput and I tend to agree with you based what I have found also. Hopefully one day more records will come forth and clear things up but no matter this is one watch I will end up passing down.

This is a very pretty watch that you will be proud to pass down.  No luck finding an ad.

Unknown for now.
